November Meeting.
Just a reminder, the November meeting is this Saturday. Please meet in Lab 3 at 1pm. Please dress up a bit for this meeting as we are possibly going on a field trip. We are representing ITT Tech when we go on these trips. See you Saturday.
November AITP meeting recap
Yesterday, Nov. 18th, we enjoyed our first AITP meeting. We went to the Scott Conference Center where we listened to retired Nebraska State Patrol Scott Christensen. He covered topics such as identity theft and child porn and how corporations help law enforcement when employees are doing illegal activities on their work computers. He was very informative on his topics and injected a little humor to make the event very worthwhile. The buffet was also quite enticing.
ITT Tech received a very warm welcome from Lloyd Hasche in his opening speech. He did a great job making us all a part of the meeting and ensuring that we enjoyed ourselves.
When the door prizes were distributed, 2 of the 4 ITT Tech students in attendance walked away with prizes.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, December 17th, at 6pm. The location for that meeting is the Omaha Press Club. A speaker from the AIM institute will be talking about Gadgets and Gizmos. For this dinner meeting, you may bring your spouse or a guest. This is a great way to show them the interesting things that you are learning and getting involved in. More information will be available at www.aitpomaha.com.
All students at ITT Tech are welcome to attend these meetings. You need to see Larry Johnson for AITP enrollment forms. These meetings are yet another way to get out there and network with people who are already out in the field. You never know who you will bump into.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Due to the holidays, the meetings for November and December will be held on the THIRD Saturday of the month.
November meeting: November 21st at 1pm in Lab 3
December meeting: December 19th at 1pm in Lab 3
Starting January 23rd, the club meeting will move to 12:30pm in Lab 3.
